Everyone says that high school for them was the best experience of their life. For me, i'm still waiting for that pow of excitement. But I do have to admit it hasn't been bad at all and it is a great place to discover yourself. The best parts of high school at Lindsay so far has been getting to know the different type of people here, getting into a bigger fish bowl than in elementary. I am very proud that in high school I have accomplished a lot and have good grades, the lows would probably be that we only have small breaks during the day and that the classes are dragged on very long. Other than that, I feel high school will be a fast and memorable chapter in my life. One of my most memorable moments was last year during the goodbye ceremony we had for Mr. Munter. Even though I've only heard about him, and never really grew to know him, it was as if I had. During the ceremony people were crying. I really felt the pain they felt knowing one of their favorite administrators had to leave for good. You could see how the class rivalries had extinguished and everyone suddenly became a family. It was one of the most memorable experiences because it really showed the love in our high school, where everyone had come together to comfort one another for the leave of Mr. Munter. In high school you become family with everyone around you especially if you do extra curricular activities. My freshman year I was in the Tennis team to try out the sport and it was great. I also did swimming, which I love. Even though I have been swimming for almost 6 years I'm not the best in the team. But that doesn't matter as long as your teammates make you strive to be better. I also joined the FBLA club and it really expanded my mind to learn new things and techniques. This year I have done Golf, which is such a great sport and will definitely do again the following year. I will also do swimming again and not let anything stop me from going to practice like last year. I also joined key club to do some community work to help make our town better. Since I was a little girl I have wanted to be a lawyer. I honestly don't know why as a little girl I wanted to be something so sophisticated, and now I know why. I want to be a lawyer or something in the criminal justice field because I want to help keep the community safe. For example, the criminal justice system in Lindsay is one of the best I've seen because you can really see that people in Lindsay walk around feeling safe and I do too. Maybe my passion of studies will change over the next few years and I'll decide then what I want to be. I want my next years in high school to be the best years of my life. I want the whole high school experience everyone wishes to go back too. I want come back to Lindsay once I have started my future life and thank everyone who helped me build it.
